Siman is always ready to serve the requests of the Italian Navy and foreign military bodies by actively participating in calls for tenders for naval construction, an activity in great demand in recent years: many nations are interested in increasing or replacing their minor naval fleets with new fast patrol vessels, coastal patrol boats, support vessels and tugs.
The growing demand stems from the need to contain and control illegal immigration and to counter the attack of merchant ships by pirates.
